Ida Jane reading, rebelling

Ida Jane turned five months old yesterday! Can you believe it? It seems both longer and shorter than that. It feels like ages since she was in the NICU, tiny and, well, tiny. At the same time, the days just fly by now, and she gets bigger and learns more every day.

She's really beginning to enjoy reading books with mom and dad. Here's dad reading a nice book to her. Watch her try to turn the pages and follow the thrilling, twisting plot of "Daddy Loves Me"

Also, in case you were curious, this is what a Feminist looks like:

What a great story. It's certainly nice of Ida Jane to help turn the pages. See you soon. Love, grandma Z

Look at how big our little pumpkin is. She is growing like a weed. I can't believe how much she has changed in a month. She is sitting up like a champ! I miss her!!!! Hopefully we will be down there again real soon. We're shooting for April. She'll probably be reading "War and Peace " by then. Big hugs and kisses IJZ, Love, Aunt Kris
