Hello Boston!

There sure has been a lot going on since our last post! We left Singapore at the end of January. It was hard for the girls (and us) to say goodbye to so many friends.

Our good friends Charles and Yasi from Australia happened to be in Singapore the day before we left. We were so happy that we got to see them.

The girls will really miss their friends!

We cannot wait until we have all of our boxes back!

Here are the girls at Logan Airport. We had just landed. They weren't sure what to think of all of the cold weather gear!

It has been a really mild winter in Boston, but it snowed the day we arrived. The girls were thrilled to throw some snowballs. There hasn't been any snow since!

This is what jet lag looks like:

We have been keeping busy with visiting friends, house hunting, going to the library and Boston museums, and just walking around Boston. We stumbled upon a neighborhood Valentine's Day party, where the girls got their faces painted.

They enjoyed decorating heart-shaped popcorn balls - a Valentine gift from Meme and Baba.

The girls were so happy to reconnect with their buddy Alexandra!

They miss their sundresses so both picked out a winter dress. Ida Jane spent about 20 minutes trying on dresses before choosing this one.

Here's Ida posing with the statue of legendary Celtics coach Red Auerbach!

We have found a house and are very excited about it! Closing is at the end of March. We will post pictures once it is a done deal!

Our finishing photo is from lunch this past weekend. You can take the girl out of Singapore, but you can't take Singapore out of the girl!

Welcome back to the USA; the pictures brought back many memories, especially the jetlag. We have spent a few days in HK and it is amazing to me how quickly you get back into the rhythm of HK. We enjoy visiting familiar places where we spent lots of time and have many memories, even after 16 years. Those memories you've made in Singapore last a lifetime. Wishing you success as you create a new home. Take care. Love you.
