Well, she's not really standing up. But she's getting very strong and having a lot of fun playing around.



Here she is, modelling a new outfit with a hood that keeps her warm in the suddenly cold January weather.

A visit from Katie and Ryan

Ida Jane got to meet her cousins Katie and Ryan, and her uncle Jeff and aunt Kris this weekend. We had a good time together, and all of the animals were happy to see their friends as well.

Here's Ryan holding his little cousin. We all know that Ida Jane aspires to be like Ryan someday, as he was born at the same age and had almost the exact same weight when he came home from the hospital as well.



Here's Katie and Ida Jane. Ida Jane had a good time with Katie and liked to hear her voice when she talked to her.



And here's a picture of Ida Jane, goofing around. She's not pretending to be a gangster, she's trying to eat her hands. And, don't worry, she was fed shortly after the picture was taken.

It's been a while since we've written! Things have been busy with mom back at work, but everyone is doing really well. First things first, let's post a few more Christmas pics.

Christmas

Ida Jane had a wonderful Christmas in Ohio! There were a lot of pictures and movies taken, so look for several updates with new movies in the next few days. In the meantime, here are a few photo highlights:

Getting ready for the road

Ida Jane is getting ready for a big trip to Ohio tomorrow! She's getting all packed up, including the presents she's bringing:

The weather is so nice out today that Mom, Dad, and Ida Jane went to the park with our good friends Veronique and Ilan. And, of course, Olivia was happy to join us!

Stylish Headband

Good Sunday evening. Ida Jane got all dolled up for a afternoon out on the town. Here she is, complete with stylish headband.



We went to a small gathering of friends here in Rockville and brought a couple of toys for tots with us. Here's a picture of Ida Jane laughing it up after we've returned.
