Reading books

Ida Jane loves her exersaucer. Here she is, playing around with the book.

We think her eyes are looking a little green lately, and her red hair is starting to come in, slowly but surely. Here's a nice close up to give you an idea.

I'll be adding another video later this weekend, with some chatter!

Ida Jane standing up!

Well, she's not really standing up. But she's getting very strong and having a lot of fun playing around.

Here she is, modelling a new outfit with a hood that keeps her warm in the suddenly cold January weather.

Here is her best Gene Simmons impersonation:

And, last of all, she enjoys a nice hug from Mommy.

A visit from Katie and Ryan

Ida Jane got to meet her cousins Katie and Ryan, and her uncle Jeff and aunt Kris this weekend. We had a good time together, and all of the animals were happy to see their friends as well.

Here's Ryan holding his little cousin. We all know that Ida Jane aspires to be like Ryan someday, as he was born at the same age and had almost the exact same weight when he came home from the hospital as well.

Here's Katie and Ida Jane. Ida Jane had a good time with Katie and liked to hear her voice when she talked to her.

And here's a picture of Ida Jane, goofing around. She's not pretending to be a gangster, she's trying to eat her hands. And, don't worry, she was fed shortly after the picture was taken.

Ida Jane update

It's been a while since we've written! Things have been busy with mom back at work, but everyone is doing really well. First things first, let's post a few more Christmas pics.

Here's Ida Jane complaining about the silly hat her mom wants her to wear:

Here's Ida Jane, enjoying a quiet moment with her Grandma:

Now here are a couple of recent pictures. This one shows Ida Jane in her new favorite carrying mechanism, the sling.

And, lastly, here's a movie of Ida Jane, enjoying her mobile and showing off her chubby legs.

Christmas

Ida Jane had a wonderful Christmas in Ohio! There were a lot of pictures and movies taken, so look for several updates with new movies in the next few days. In the meantime, here are a few photo highlights:

Here's Grandpa with Ida Jane and cousin Evan

Here are two cuties, Evan and Ida Jane, having a good time in the crib.

Here's four generations of Gerber (including a Gerber baby!)

And here's Great-Grandmama Zoll with Ida Jane in her Christmas best.

As always, stay tuned for more Ida Jane!

Getting ready for the road

Ida Jane is getting ready for a big trip to Ohio tomorrow! She's getting all packed up, including the presents she's bringing:

Lately Ida Jane has been very fond of the mobile hanging over her crib. Here's a movie of her enjoying the view:

To all those who will be in Berkey this Christmas, we'll see you soon. To everyone else: Merry Christmas!

Ida Jane at the park

The weather is so nice out today that Mom, Dad, and Ida Jane went to the park with our good friends Veronique and Ilan. And, of course, Olivia was happy to join us!

Here's a little video of our excursion. Happy Saturday, everyone!
